Hold the Phone!

Ian Parks tests the Rocky Creek Phone Holder

SKU: PA030

I’ve been using the new Wireless & USB-C Phone Charger and Holder over the last few months and have decided I can’t do without it now and wonder how I managed without it before!

My 1988 Honda GoldWing GL1500 U.S. import is equipped with a miles per hour speedo and while I’m of the pre-metric vintage, it’s been a while since I had to convert on the fly while riding.

Of course there are any number of GPS/Speed tracking apps available for your iPhone or Android so long as you can hold the damn thing without being booked!

Enter the Adjustable Phone Holder from Rocky Creek Designs...

You can connect this cradle to the bike’s battery and it will wirelessly charge your phone whenever it’s in said cradle. My bike already has a USB plug I fitted a while ago so I can simply plug it into its normal charging port (there’s a convenient gap at the base of the holder).

The holder will fit to handle bars 12mm diameter up to 32mm (look pretty flash on a push bike). It’s got an oh-so-easy lock in lever to secure your phone (up to 90mm wide).

Another advantage to this cradle is the multiple adjustment of the mount, so you can set it to be visible from anywhere on the handlebars. This makes using your phone as a video camera as easy as 1,2,3.

I have an older Samsung phone loaded with music so once again the holder allows me to select and play my cruising tune choice and Bluetooth to my helmet headset.

You get all the cables, cable ties, allen keys and instructions required for easy fitting.

I like Rocky Creek Design products because I know they’re high quality items and are very durable.

At time of testing, the product retailed for $129.95
